Haida Heritage

The Haida Heritage Collection is inspired by the powerful visual language of Northwest Coast Indigenous art, particularly the flowing formline traditions associated with Haida, Tlingit, Tsimshian, and neighboring coastal cultures. These designs are original contemporary illustrations—not reproductions of traditional Indigenous artwork. They draw inspiration from the movement, balance, and symbolism of those artistic traditions while celebrating North America’s wildlife through a modern conservation perspective.

Each composition integrates the animal with elements of its habitat—mountains, forests, rivers, coastlines, or wetlands—to emphasize that no species exists in isolation. Every piece is created to honor the beauty of the natural world and to inspire appreciation for the conservation of the ecosystems that sustain it.

This wording clearly distinguishes your work as inspired by rather than representing authentic Haida cultural art, while highlighting the conservation mission behind Mountain Misfits.
