Gear Review: Northbound Gear Adventure Water Resistant Pant

Our New Favorite Winter Pant

Greetings Misfits! I’m excited to share my experience with the incredible Northbound Gear Adventure Water Resistant Pants that have been my go-to for the past 4 months. Through the winter wonderland of Montana, these pants have never let me down.

Now, I have to admit, they do have a bit of a 1970s look to them, but don’t let that fool you – these pants are the real deal. They’re well-constructed and have held up amazingly well despite all the wear and tear.

One of the best features of these pants is the pockets – they all have nice zippers and are roomy enough for most cell phones. And while the simple quick-release belt may be a little cheap, it gets the job done.

The lining strikes the perfect balance between sweat-wicking and warmth, keeping you comfortable on even the most challenging hikes. And when the temperature drops below freezing, I have not had to add another layer underneath, but the pants are definitely stretchy enough to accommodate extra layers without restricting your movement.

Now, let’s talk water resistance. These pants aren’t waterproof, but they’re definitely water-resistant. They can handle a fair bit of moisture without leaving you feeling soggy and miserable.

And the best part? The price is totally reasonable, and Northbound always seems to have some killer sales going on. So if you’re looking for a fun and functional pair of pants to wear on your next hike, these are definitely worth checking out. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
